CompassLearning

CompassLearningThe Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum includes grades pre-k through twelve in the four main subject areas of English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The activities provided by the curriculum are based upon grade level expectations (GLEs) which are statements of what all students should know or be able to do upon completion of each individual grade. The CompassLearning software program has identified and labeled each GLE and the appropriate activity for reading and mathematics.  Individual schools have been provided with electronic copies to review when assigning lessons.

LaSalle Elementary Students Use Compass LabAt last the wait is over! The principal, faculty and staff at LaSalle Elementary are so excited to have the CompassLearning computer lab up and running. I couldn’t wait to visit and feel the excitement around the campus. The lab manager is Megan Patrick. Megan has worked in the East Baton Rouge School System for fourteen years, and she is proud to say, all of them at LaSalle Elementary.

Ms. Cannon appreciates the levels of instruction offered by Compass. She uses it as reinforcement as well as practice.

The CompassLearning program is aligned to the Grade Level Expectations.
The students and faculty realize LaSalle has a win-win situation. Kudos to LaSalle!
